Daniel Sky is a singer/songwriter originally from Winnipeg Manitoba. He has lived in The Rockies, on the Coast and in The Prairies. He currently resides in the very musical west end of Toronto since 2008 when he released his debut album 'On The Round' produced by David Baxter (Justin Rutledge, Treassa Levasseur).
Since then he has toured the country and has played Toronto hot spots Lees Palace, the Horseshoe Tavern, The Dakota Tavern, Not My Dog, The Cadillac Lounge and The Cameron House where he was artists in residence last summer.
In September he will be releasing his new record "Spider Milk" produced Derek Downham (The Beauties, Andy Kim) and is looking forward to another Canadian tour this fall/winter.
The Daniel Sky Band has been a participated in NXNE and Canadian music week since 2009.
This year two of Daniel's original compositions will be featured in the universal Studios film "Blue Crush 2" and in 2010 he composed an original theme for an award winning documentary "Las Aguilas Humanas" (The Human Eagles).
